As many know by now, Shaun Alexander has been released by the Seahawks. With the Steelers a mere 2 million or so available in salary cap room, I highly doubt he will be free agent we pursue. He would be an interesting add to help in short yardage and goal line situations, but I think teams such as the Colts or even the Patriots might go after him for the same reasons.
