Steelers Beat Jaguars 26-21, Limp Into Bye Week

The Pittsburgh Steelers survived another physical game and beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 26-21. The Steelers are now 4-1 and go into a well needed bye week to get healthy after a rough opening schedule. Quarterback Ben Rpethelisburgher toughed out another gutsy performance going 26 for 41 throwing the ball for 309 yards and 3 touchdowns. Third string running back Mewelde Moore pitched in with 99 yards rushing and defense came up big when they needed to. Nate Washington and Hines Ward combined for 13 receptions and 184 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Steelers will now have next week off to get several players healthy and look forward to the return of starting running back Willie Parker and starting nose tackle Casey Hampton among others.

I am, I'm me. 40 something, retired and a life long Steelers fan.
