The Pittsburgh Steelers dismantled the New England Patriots 33-10 Sunday afternoon at Foxborough. Once again the Steelers defense led the way, only giving up a short field touchdown after an early interception by Ben Roethlisberger. New York Giants and former Steeler wide receiver Plaxico Burress accidentally shot himself in the leg on Friday, according to multiple sources. Burress was hospitalized with gunshot injuries Friday night that were not believed to be life-threatening. The Steelers wrapped up final preparations of Friday for the New England Patriots. DE Brett Keisel (Knee) and T Marvel Smith (Back) are out as expected an neither practiced all week. CB Bryant McFadden (Forearm), RB Willie Parker (Knee) and CB Deshea Townsend (Hamstring) are all listed as questionable on the Friday injury report and all three had full participation in practice on Friday.

Thanksgiving was good for free agent running back Najeh Davenport, as he was re-signed by the Steelers on Thursday. Davenport was previously released by the Steelers following a 23-6 win at Washington on November 3rd. To make room for Davenport on the roster, cornerback Roy Lewis was released.
