No Fine For S Ryan Clark For Hit On Patriots WR Wes Welker

Steelers safety Ryan Clark will not be fined by the league for a hit that knocked Wes Welker out of Sunday’s game in New England. Clark was penalized 15 yards for unnecessary roughness for his hit on Welker, but Mike Pereira, the NFL’s director of officiating, told the Steelers that Clark would not be fined. Clark had previously been fined $7,500 for a hit he put on Jaguar’s wide receiver Matt Jones in the Steelers win in Jacksonville on Oct. 5.
