Below is the video of the John Lynch interview of Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin. Both discuss the upcoming Super Bowl and the time the two spent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when Tomlin was the secondary coach for Lynch. This is probably the last Tomlin interview done with the media before Super Bowl Sunday.
I love to hear the Here We Go, Steelers song when they are on live location sets like we have heard all week. Steeler Nation is loud and proud this week. My excitement is at a fevered pitch and I can hardly until Sunday.
Everyone sing it with me...
HERE WE GO, STEELERS, HERE WE GO! HERE WE GO, STEELERS, HERE WE GO! HERE WE GO, STEELERS, HERE WE GO!
The Arizona Cardinals are no doubt a Cinderella story of the 2008 season. Kurt Warner has played almost flawlessly throughout the post season along with wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. On defense the Cardinals have done just enough when it has counted most. For the Steelers this season it has been all about the defense with some inconsistencies mixed in on the offensive side of the ball.
I will start with what the Cardinals need to to to win Super Bowl 43. The Cardinals have been successful thus far in the playoffs because they have been able to run the ball successfully. The rushing numbers Read more [...]
Former Steeler great Rod Woodson became the 20th player from the Steelers to make the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday.
Woodson played cornerback for the Steelers from 1987 through 1996 and then played for four other NFL teams before he retired after the 2003 season.
Former Steelers center Dermontti Dawson and coach Russ Grimm did not receive enough votes to make it in this time around.
Dawson was selected All-Pro six consecutive seasons and was selected to the NFL's team of the decade for the 1990s. Dawson played from 1988 to 2000.

If Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor wants to put his name solidly on the cornerback map, he must do so on Super Bowl Sunday. Taylor is a good cornerback, but at this moment, he benefits more from the talent around him then his actual play. Right now, Taylor is just the newest reincarnation of former Steelers corner Dewayne Washington. Washington always played hot or cold, he always was good for a big pass interference call or sloppy coverage on most Sundays. Washington would have his moments, but more times than not, he was the weakest link in the secondary. Taylor must prove he is a worthy link Read more [...]
On Friday the Steelers held their final organized team practice of the season in Tampa for Super Bowl 43 versus the Arizona Cardinals. The Steelers injury report is a short one. WR Hines Ward (knee) practiced fully for the second straight day and is listed as probable on the injury report. Barring any set back, Ward should be good to play on Sunday evening.

I recently did an interview for Robert Ferringo from DocSportsBlog.com along with two Arizona Cardinal fan site owners to answer questions related to the upcoming Super Bowl matchup. Below is a link to the interview and hopefully he will edit it to include my game prediction. Make sure to comment that you found the link to their site on Steelers Depot.
Below is the NFL.com video on the Tampa weather forecast from AccuWeather.com for the Sunday evening Super Bowl 43 game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals.

The Steelers held their final Thursday practice of the season today at the University of South Florida practice fields in preparation for Super Bowl 43 on Sunday versus the Arizona Cardinals. WR Hines Ward (knee) remains the lone listing on the Steelers injury report and he practiced fully on Thursday despite wearing a knee brace. Ward seems ready to go and it will be important to see how the knee responds on Friday.

Head coach Mike Tomlin of the Pittsburgh Steelers is the 2008 Motorola NFL Coach of the Year, Motorola and the NFL announced today.
