Steelers LB James Harrison Named Defensive Player of the Year

Steelers linebacker James Harrison was named the NFL\’s Defensive Player of the Year on Monday. Harrison, who set a Steelers record with 16 sacks this season, is the Steelers first defensive player of the year since Rod Woodson was given the award in 1993. He is the fifth Steeler player to win the award. Other Steelers to win the award are Joe Greene, Mel Blount, Jack Lambert and Woodson.
