We would still count the prorated signing bonus against the cap and at $460,000 he just isn't making enough over the minimum to make it worth the loss, however minimal. (you have to count at least the minimum contract for each roster spot) I'm wondering if we maybe trade Foote during the draft. Spaeth saves us almost nothing.
