Steelers Bring In UNLV FB Frank Summers For Visit

Steelers fans will love this guy if they draft him or get him as a free agent. He is a team first guy. For those that dont know he had offers to Cal but wanted to play TB and not FB. His strengths would be just that his physical strength. On his pro-day he did 30 reps at 225. As a ball carrier he punishes defenders and looks to initiate contact. Finishes his runs with good pad level. He is also a solid blocker and has very good hands. He isnt a great route runner but is very good on swing passes and dumps. He has very quick feet for a big man. On the downside while he is fast for his size he lacks elite top end speed. He also isnt elusive, as mentioned he looks for defenders. He would be a great short yardage guy and I believe after watching him for two seasons, he could be a starter in the NFL in the right system.
