Steelers To Bring In Norfolk State CB Don Carey For Visit

The Steelers have scheduled Norfolk State cornerback Don Carey for a pre draft visit on Wednesday, April 8th. Carey was a four-year starter at Norfolk State. Carey was main attraction at the Norfolk State Pro Day on March 20th and recorded a 32 1/2-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot, 2-inch broad jump, 4.20 short shuttle and a 6.87 three-cone drill time. Carey did not  bench press and let his combine 40-yard dash time stand as his official time. Carey is very versatile and played both safety and cornerback. Carey had a great East-West Shrine Game and is currently projected as a later day two draft pick.

It’s a good thing that the Steelers are looking at Conerback because:

    1) They have to replace B-Mac

    2) You can NEVER have enough good ones

Don’t be surprised if We draft one in either the 1st or 2nd Round. Most people think that they will draft either a Offensive or Defensive Linemen, but the Steelers do NOT draft by need; they draft on who is ranked the highest on their draft board who is left over one it is their pick.
