Steelers Six From Around The Web – Saturday May 30th

The Steelers debuted a 23-minute highlight film chronicling the 2008 season on Friday at the East Club Lounge at Heinz Field. The film was produced by John Weiss of NFL Films and entitled: “Brothers and Champions: The Story of the 2008 Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers”. The film was narrated by Larry Richert of KDKA radio.

Hard to believe that Browns center Hank Fraley was once a Steeler. He is currently passing on his wisdom to rookie Alex Mack and he credits former Steeler center, Dermontti Dawson, for guidance when he was a rookie.

Steelers linebacker James Harrison has hopefully found a good home for the pit bull dog that attacked his son. The dog was scheduled to be euthanized, but Harrison found a woman who specializes in rehabilitating pit bulls.

Dale Lolley has some random notes on the Steelers and this past week\’s OTA session. The most interesting thing is that Trai Essex replaced Max Starks at left tackle when Starks had to be absent for a day.

Steelers.com is now accepting questions for rookie wide receiver Mike Wallace in their “Ask The Steelers” section.

Post Gazette columnist, Bob Smizik, chimed in on the Bill Cowher controversy and was it was met with a ton of rebuttal from Steeler Nation.

Good luck to the Pens in game one of the Stanley Cup finals in Detroit. Let\’s Go Pens!!!
