Undrafted free agent from the Canadian Football League, Stefan Logan, downplays long odds of making the roster

The Cambridge Springs Police Department has received $8,000 from the Ben Roethlisberger Foundation to be used for a K-9 officer care and equipment. The foundation has given out several hundred thousand dollars in grants to police and fire departments to obtain and use service dogs.

Starting running back Willie Parker has been a regular at the practice facility since the team’s mini-camp. Parker knows the 2009 season will play a huge part in his future in the NFL.

Steelers.com is now accepting questions for a few of the Steeler rookies. Only one question per person.

Dale Lolley says the Steelers expect to be picked for a regular season international game for the 2010 or 2011 season.

There is a push in the state of Oregon to pass the “Rooney Rule,” which is named after Steelers owner Dan Rooney, for the interview process to include minorities with local college universities.
