Punter Daniel Sepulveda has finally resumed punting under supervision of special-teams coach Bob Ligashesky. He recently needed another operation to repair his right meniscus. Sepulveda has torn the ACL in this plant leg knee twice.

Former Steelers cornerback Rod Woodson has named high school friend and business associate, Tracy Foster, as his presenter when he is inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in early August.

The Steelers and a Columbus developer are seeking yet another extension in completing part of a proposed $12 million year-round entertainment complex to be built next to Heinz Field.

The Steelers will receive their Super Bowls rings at a private ceremony on Tuesday. Each ring cost about $5,000 and the NFL will be picking up the tab for them. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger returned to practice on Thursday, wearing a wrap on his left knee. Roethlisberger had bumped knees with running back Willie Parker on Wednesday.
