Saint Vincent College has added a third regulation-size practice field for the Steelers training camp at the campus in Latrobe. Training camp opens next week, with the first practice open to the public at 3 p.m. Aug. 1. here is the news release from Saint Vincent College.

Former Steeler defensive linemen, Orien Harris, was traded to the Detroit Lions by the St. Louis on wednesday in exchange for wide receiver, Ronald Curry.

Small story on superstar lawyer, William David Cornwell Sr., who is defending Ben Roethlisberger in the sexual assault case. This will likely be over before it even starts. The Douglas County sheriff's office said Wednesday they will not pursue a criminal investigation into claims by the money hungry bitch that she was sexually assaulted unless she files a complaint.

Steeler fan, Clinton Alexander says he wouldn’t mind catching a pass from Ben Roethlisberger, but really hopes to catch one from Shaquille O’Neal on Friday night in the “Shaq Vs.” TV reality show.

Former wide receiver, Joe Horn, will have an open tryout with the Ravens on Friday. They better hope they can talk Derrick Mason out of retirement as Horn is a number 4 receiver at best.

i am a steeler fanatic the steelers are the best because of their organization their work ethic i was born in pittsburgh but now live in anaheim ca i have a picture when i was 5 years old of me sitting on the lap of fran rogel a running back for the steelers in the 50s my dad was his freind and he came out to california to see us they used to say hey diddle diddle rogel up the middle hows that for some steeler history love al you people !!!

He lived with my father in California in the early 60′s where he started his coaching after retiring from playing ball. I spent just as much time with Uncle Fran as I did with my father growing up. Helped with chores on the farm. Anyway. I was wondering if I could get a copy of the picture you have of Fran. I will pay for all costs. BTW, what was your dad’s name and how were they friends?
