It was a numbers game. Redman could not play fullback or contribute enough on special teams. No way they could waste the roster spot on a 4th RB with Logan making it as a KR and Summers likely now making it as FB with Carey Davis gone. Redman needed an injury to 1 of the 3 ahead of him to make the roster. If they could keep 54, he would likely of made it. Merely a numbers game.
