On Tuesday, the Steelers reportedly released tight end Dezmond Sherrod from the practice squad and signed tight end Kevin Brock to take his place. Brock was previously released by Jets on September 4th. He is a former Rutgers University product that was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Carolina Panthers. Brock is reportedly a blocking tight end.
