Steelers Six From Around The Web – Friday September 4th

Mike Tomlin will hold a 4PM eastern press conference today and announce the cuts as well as taking questions on the upcoming game versus Tennessee. The presser should be able to be heard on 1250 ESPN Radio.

The Steelers came out of the Panthers game with just a few minor injuries mostly to reserve players: defensive tackle Scott Paxson (concussion), linebacker Donovan Woods (hamstring), wide receiver Dallas Baker (hip), wide receiver Tyler Grisham (shoulder) and running back Justin Vincent (stinger) all were banged up Thursday night.

Steelers free agent running back Isaac Redman played on a sprained ankle last night versus the Panthers. Redman is firmly on the bubble at this point and if is released and clears waivers, will surely be signed to the practice squad.
