Steelers Six From Around The Web – Tuesday September 22nd
The Associated Press reported that the Bengals are 4-0 when running back Cedric Benson rushes for 100 yards in a game. On the Steelers side of things though, the Steelers defense has not allowed a 100-yard rusher in 20 consecutive games.
Receiver Santonio Holmes walked around the Steelers practice facility on Monday with a large ice wrap on his left wrist and hand. Head coach Mike Tomlin did not mention him as an injured player of concern during his Tuesday press conference, so it is likely of little concern.
Veteran PPG sports commentator Bob Smizik blogged about the Willie Parker, Rashard Mendenhall running back controversy.

Scott Brown looks at the upcoming matchup between Steelers left tackle Max Starks and Bengals defensive end Antwan Odom. Odom has seven sacks through two games thus far. Brown also points out that Ben Roethlisberger's passer rating through two games is 85.6 and the Steelers opposing quarterbacks' combined passer rating in two games is 93.4.
