Injury Report

Troy Polamalu Sprained MCL In Left Knee

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said in his post game press conference that safety Troy Polamalu initially is being diagnosed with an MCL sprain in his left knee. The injury could be worse. Another MRI will be performed on Friday or Saturday. The injury will sideline Polamalu for at least 3-6 weeks, maybe longer. It depends on the degree of the sprain. Polumalu was injured on a blocked field goal in the first half after Titans tight end Alge Crumpler fell on the left leg of Polamalu. Polamalu was trying to pick up the blocked punt.

Below is the video of the play that Polamalu was injured on.
