Steelers Bengals Week 10 Wednesday Practice Injury Report – Kirschke Still Sidelined

The Steelers began weekly practice preparations on Wednesday for their week 10 match-up versus the Cincinnati Bengals. Running back Carey Davis (hamstring) sat out today and almost certainly will be out this week with the hamstring injury suffered on Monday night in Denver. Guard Trai Essex (illness) and defensive end Travis Kirschke (calf) sat out on Wednesday as well. Essex should be back at practice on Thursday. Cornerback Deshea Townsend (not injury related), wide receiver Hines Ward (not injury related) and linebacker James Farrior (not injury related) were all given the day off to rest and will work on Thursday.

For the Bengals on Wednesday, defensive end Robert Geathers (hip), running back Cedric Benson (not injury related) and defensive end Frostee Rucker (neck) were all limited in practice. Safety Roy Williams (forearm) practiced fully. Guard Evan Mathis (ankle), linebacker Keith Rivers (calf) and fullback Jeremi Johnson (chest) all sat out on Wednesday with injuries.
