Steelers Broncos Week 9 Thursday Practice Injury Report – Kirschke & Timmons Sit
The Steelers practiced on Thursday in preparation for their Monday night game versus the Broncos in Denver. Defensive end Travis Kirschke (calf) and linebacker Lawrence Timmons (ankle) did not practice on Thursday and were the only two players listed on the injury report for Pittsburgh. In all likelihood, Kirschke will not practice all week and will not play Monday night as he revealed he suffered a torn calf against Minnesota. Timmons is still hoping he can play according to a recent blog post he made.
For the Broncos on Thursday, tackle Ryan Harris (toes), defensive end Ryan McBean (knee), and safety Josh Barrett (hamstring) all sat out practice. Harris has already been ruled out for Monday night's game. Safety David Bruton (groin) and cornerback Jack Williams (illness) were both limited in the Thursday practice session.
