Steelers Six From Around The Web – Tuesday November 3rd

The bye week is over and it is back to work.

Head coach Mike Tomlin will hold his regular Tuesday press conference today at noon eastern. You can view it online here on Steelers.com

Mike Tomlin said that determination will be made later in the week on free safety Ryan Clark playing in Denver. Clark has received medical clearance to play in the game, but could still opt to sit out as a precaution.

Safety Troy Polamalu, defensive end Travis Kirschke and outside linebacker Lawrence Timmons did not practice on Monday and are considered questionable for Denver. Running back Willie Parker sat out with an illness.

The Steelers released tight end Kevin Brock from the practice squad and signed tight end Eugene Bright to take his place.

Here is the transcript from Mike Tomlin following the Monday practice session.

The Broncos will be without offensive tackle Ryan Harris because of two dislocated toes on his right foot. Tyler Polumbus will make his first start as Harris\’ replacement and will go against LaMarr Woodley.

  • Mario Lopez

THen Silverback should be even more amped up, to take on a non starter at tackle as a challenge to welcome the man to the NFL…

  • Jason

Unless the Steelers are planning to move Deebo around, he won’t be going against this backup. He’ll be tangling with Left Tackle Ryan Clady.
