Couldn't they have suffered a season ending injury in the first half. Why bother playing them at all? It was bulls***, in my opinion. I also feel it was selfish on their managements part to deny individual players from possibly setting records and increasing their individual stats that could also contribute to further recognition and reward. When you give up and give the game away you are taking that spot away from one of the deserving teams. That may or may not be the Steelers but it definately isn't the Jets. Now this Sunday they will probably be given another freebie as Cinci lays down and gives the Jets another unerned victory and a deserving team is denied a playoff spot.
