Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor and linebacker James Farrior are working with renowned trainer Tom Shaw and three Florida State draft prospects down in Florida. I hope Shaw has a fountain of youth pool.

The weekly Ed Bouchette\’s Steelers chat transcript is up on PPG. Bouchette says he voted for Heath Miller, Jeff Reed and LaMarr Woodley for the Pro Bowl. He also thinks the Steelers will try to re-sign free safety Ryan Clark.

ESPN AFC North blogger, James Walker, gives a 70% chance that the Steelers will retain free agent kicker Jeff Reed. Walker also list other under the radar free agents in the division.

Giants co-owner John Mara said on Tuesday that he was resigned to an uncapped season in 2010 and thought the union and owners might be moving further apart in talks toward a new labor agreement. Mara went on to say that he still had hope that a lockout could be averted.
