As expected, the Steelers announced today that unrestricted free agent kicker Jeff Reed has been designated as the team’s franchise player for the 2010 season. Steelers GM Kevin Colbert said at his NFL combine press conference that. "Our goal is to lock Jeff Reed up and have him finish his career with us."
