To make room for the recently signed draft picks and get down to the league mandated roster limit of 80, the Steelers released 7 players on Tuesday. The Steelers have 4 draft picks yet to be signed and are currently down to 79 players under contract on the active roster with wide receiver Limas Sweed on the injured reserve list.
