Steelers Sign Kevin Colbert To Five Year Contract Extension


With just a day and a half until the Steelers players report to Latrobe for training camp on Friday, the Steelers announced today that Director of Football Operations Kevin Colbert has signed a five-year contract extension with the team. Colbert, begins his 11th season with the Steelers after originally being named to the position in 2000. Financial terms are not yet known and were not released per team policy. Colbert, a Pittsburgh native, has been instrumental in leading the Steelers to two Super Bowl titles, five division championships and six playoff berths during his first 10 seasons with the team.
