Steelers Six From Around The Web – Thursday July 1st – 30 Days Until Camp Starts Edition

Joe Linta, the agent for Steelers offensive tackle Willie Colon, was interviewed by The FAN’s John Seibel on Wednesday to discuss how the surgery on Colon went and his furture going forward as he will remain a restricted free agent going into 2011. The injury has devastated Colon who was looking at a chance at his one huge pay day, should he have had a good season this year. You have to feel bad for poor Willie as he was hurt by the NFL not having a CBA in place this year as we mentioned a few days ago.

Part 2 of the Ask The Steelers segment with wide receiver Antwaan Randle El is up on Steelers.com. El talks about who made first contact to initiate his return, his leadership qualities and says he does not know how much, but he will be involved in special teams this year.
