Steelers 2010 Training Camp Day 8 Recap & Notes – Friday – August 6th


Day 8 of training camp begins very shortly in Latrobe with a morning practice now as today features two practices, with the later being the annual night practice under the lights open to the public. We will have news, notes, nuggets and practice information from today posted up on this page as we get it in. Check back often through out the evening to see the updates per our usual.   • Pouncey & Hood have a pair of good battles in line drills, Legursky owns Hoke twice.
  • Dixon responds with a great TD pass to Antwaan Randle El.
  • Practice over.
  • Jonathan Scott, Hines Ward, Troy Polamalu and Frank Summers did not practice on Friday night. About Polamalu, Tomlin said, “We just rested him a little bit, as we are with Hines and some of the rest of the guys to try to stay ahead of the fatigue or injury curve.” During the workout, Tuff Harris and Sunny Harris bother sustained injuries. Sunny Harris left the field with an ice back on his left foot, and Tuff Harris had his arm in a sling.
