Proof James Harrison Was Rightly Named Defensive Player Of The Week

Steelers right outside linebacker James Harrison was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week on Wednesday for his performance in a 19-11 win over the Tennessee Titans this past Sunday. Harrison finished with 11 tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. He was impressive sideline to sideline and played a huge role in shutting down Titans running back Chris Johnson down to just 53 total yards on the day. The video below shows Deebo Silverback Harrison in all of his plays he was credited on. Trust me that these were not the only 12 plays he impacted, but here are the highlights.

He is a beast but for my money I would have given the award to Troy.

Troys play was outstanding this is true, but when I watch Silverback I get that chill. The same as when I watch clips of Jack Lambert or Greg Loyd that chill that screams primitive Deacon Jones like defense.
92 Rules! Steelers D BEST EVER COMING AT CHA!!!!

And ladies and gentlemen of the jury I said Silverback, I said Deacon Jones, I said CHILLS!!! I offer up exhibit A > OH YEAH! The way Football was meant to be played.

Of course the video shows his tackles. They didn’t show hi dirty hits either and ther were plenty of them.
