Steelers Buccaneers Week 3 Thursday Practice Injury Report
The Steelers returned to the practice field again on Thursday in preparation for the Sunday game down in Tampa versus the Buccaneers. As expected, QB dennis Dixon (knee) and G Trai Essex (ankle) did not practice today. NT Casey Hampton (hamstring) and T Max Starks (ankle) both worked fully for a second straight day and both are looking likely to return to the lineup after sitting out against the Titans last week. G Chris Kemoeatu (knee) and WR Hines Ward (calf) were both added to the injury report on Thursday and both were limited in practice.
For the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday, C Jeff Faine (calf) did not work for a second straight day. LB Niko Koutouvides (ankle) was limited after not working on Wednesday. RB Cadillac Williams (hamstring) was limited for a second straight day while QB Josh Freeman (thumb), RB Kareem Huggins (groin), and TE Kellen Winslow (knee) all practiced fully again.
