Need better quality play this week to beat Titans per Tomlin.

Nervousness should be less this week.

Tomlin described Byron Leftwich as “better” and he\’ll get limited work on Wednesday to test his knee.

Mike Tomlin says Max Starks has “inversion ankle sprain” which is “low ankle sprain” in layman\’s terms… not ruling him out for this week.

Tomlin said Jonathan Scott would start at left tackle against Titans if Max Starks is unable to play.

Flozell Adams is a right tackle per Tomlin and no consideration to move him to left side.

Tomlin described nose tackle Casey Hampton as up in the air with his hamstring strain, but not ruling him out yet.

Tomlin is not ruling out bringing someone in if Hampton is not able to go says Nick Eason and Ziggy Hood have position flexibility in relation to playing nose behind Chris Hoke. Depends on package.

Ramon Foster & Tony Hills will battle to be left back up tackle this week.

Tomlin thought Dixon got better as game went on.

Tomlin praised punter Daniel Sepulveda on his punting in Sunday\’s game and was also pleased with Jeff Reed kickoffs. Said his ball placement was good.

Antonio Brown appears unlikely to be active again against Titans. Appear more comfortable going with Antwaan Randle EL again as the punt returner.
