Steelers To Workout Former Bills QB Levi Brown

Adam Caplan of FOXSports.com is reporting that the Steelers will workout free agent quarterback Levi Brown early next week. The Steelers may be down another quarterback as Dennis Dixon is scheduled to have a MRI on his injured knee when he gets back to Pittsburgh. Early reports were a sprained knee and Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said he could of returned to the game in an emergency situation to hand off had he been needed.

Brown was was originally drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL Draft after playing his college football at Troy University and was released by the Bills September 4th. He likely is being looked at as a practice squad quarterback initially.
