Steelers Bills Week 12 Friday Practice Injury Report

The Steelers wrapped up practice preparations on Friday for their Sunday game against the Buffalo Bills. DE Aaron Smith (triceps) sat out again as expected and is out this week. WR Antonio Brown (knee) and TE Matt Spaeth (concussion) both sat out on Friday. Brown is out this week, while Spaeth now is doubtful after working fully on Thursday and having a setback. S Troy Polamalu (ankle ) practiced fully after sitting out both Wednesday and Thursday and is listed as questionable.

The Bills will be without three players for Sunday’s as DE Spencer Johnson (hamstring), LB Shawne Merriman (calf/Achilles) and G Eric Wood (ankle) were all declared out by head coach Chan Gailey after all sat out out Friday’s practice. RB C.J. Spiller (hamstring) practiced on Thursday and Friday on a limited basis and is expected to be a game time decision. Gailey listed the Bills top pick as questionable. OL Demetrius Bell (knee), NT Kyle Williams (ankle) and LB Chris Kelsay (knee) all practiced fully again and are probable, while CB Terrence McGee (knee) is questionable. LB Keith Ellison and TE Shawn Nelson also did not practice today. The reason for their absences have still not been disclosed and no indication has been made of their status for Sunday.
