Tomlin called it a good bounce back win for the Steelers who got back to their game. He thought the energy was awesome and liked how the leaders stepped up like Ben Roethlisberger, James Farrior and James Harrison.

Tomlin noted how the Steelers are seeming to run into teams when they are getting hot such as the Bills are now  and he embraces that because those are the types of teams you have to beat to get where you want to be.  Tomlin says, they have to prepare to be at our best.

Tomlin said how Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is familiar with the Steelers after having played some with the Bengals and it seems like he is establishing something nice with his receivers. Tomlin sis impressed with Bills receiver Steve Johnson who already has nine touchdowns this season.  He also noted how running back Fred Jackson is doing some nice things for them at the running back position.

Tomlin said looking at the Bills defensively, they are kind of in flux from a 3-4 look to a 4-3. Called them a high motor group up front and noted Marcus Stroud.  Said they also need to be prepared for linebacker Paul Posluszny. Says the Bills have a great group in the secondary and that their special teams have always been good.

As far as injuries go, Tomlin said WR Antonio Brown (knee swelling) might be slowed. TE Matt Spaeth (concussion) will go through all the test this week.  S Troy Polamalu (Achilles) might be rested early in the week, but not a concern. S Will Allen (concussion) has been cleared to practice and play. DE Brett Keisel (hamstring) should be a go to return this week. C Maurkice Pouncey (quad) may be limited early in week, but looks good to go.

Tomlin had no reaction to the fine given out to Raiders defensive end Richard Seymour for hitting Ben Roethlisberger. Tomlin said, “I focus on the things relevant to our team.”

Tomlin said Ramon Foster played well enough that he will likely earn another start in place of Trai Essex at right guard.

Tomlin says Emmanuel Sanders is still prone to a mistakes but that his ability to rebound mentally from mistakes has been what keeps him on the field.

Tomlin joked about Mike Wallace, but still needs to see more before he drops one trick pony moniker from him.
