Steelers Six From Around The Web – Tuesday November 16th – Hines Ready For Oakland Edition

Hines Ward says the hit he took Sunday night from Patriots safety James Sanders was a clean hit from his point of view. “It was clean, I think. It was helmet to helmet, though. His helmet hit my helmet on the side. I don\’t know what the league wants. It was a good hit as far as I remember and I remember everything.”

Ward said he will play Sunday against the visiting Oakland Raiders despite being held out by the team doctors Sunday night.

Steelers rookie receiver Emmanuel Sanders talked on 93.7 The Fan about becoming the number two receiver after Ward left the game with a concussion.
