Pro Bowl Voting Results: Tom Brady Leads Overall, 3 Steelers Lead At Positions

Just like last week, three Steelers lead the AFC in Pro Bowl balloting at their respective positions, according to a Pro Bowl results press release the NFL released on Wednesday as fan voting ended on Monday, December 20. Steelers linebacker James Harrison is the leading outside linebacker with 411,600 votes, safety Troy Polamalu leads at strong safety with 530,155 votes, and reserve linebacker Keyaron Fox is the leading special teams vote-getter with 121,057. In addition, rookie center Maurkice Pouncey has the third-highest vote total among NFL rookies, with 246,443. He trailed only the Lions defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh and Rams quarterback Sam Bradford.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady finished with nearly 1.9 million votes and was the leading vote getter. The four next-highest vote totals all belong to quarterbacks, with the Eagles Michael Vick at No. 2, followed by the Colts Peyton Manning, Chargers Philip Rivers and Saints Drew Brees. Fan voting ended this past Monday, and nearly 100 million votes were cast. There was a record 98.59 million votes cast on NFL.com, on wireless phones and on Facebook. Fans cast 89.52 million votes on NFL.com, 8.50 million votes on their wireless phones and 570,000 votes on Facebook. Players and coaches will cast votes today and tomorrow, and the NFL will announce the rosters on Tuesday at 7:00 PM on the NFL Network.
