2011 Schedule

Steelers 2011 Opponents Coming Into Focus

The Steelers have one game left on the 2010 schedule and it will help determine the final 2 opponents on the Steelers 2011 initial schedule. If the Steelers win against the Browns Sunday or the Ravens lose to the Bengals, the Steelers will win the AFC North and will get the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs added to their 2011 schedule. Should the Steelers lose Sunday and the Ravens win, the Steelers would get the New York Jets and the San Diego Chargers or Oakland Raiders instead, depending how the Chargers and Raiders do in week 17. The other 14 games have already been determined due to the rotating schedule. Of course their still could be an 18 game schedule in 2011 and early speculation is that the Steelers would add another AFC East team and another AFC West team to their schedule in addition. So for example, should the Steelers win the North, they would add either the Chargers or Raiders at home, depending on week 17 outcome and the Jets on the road. Of course this is not exactly set in stone just yet. Also dates and times are yet to be determined. Do not consider any of this official until done so by the NFL.
