Steelers Six From Around The Web – Friday January 28th – Polamalu Effect Edition
Johnette Howard has a great read on the ever humble Troy Polamalu and some interesting stats in addition on the Polamalu Effect.
Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey reportedly has a broken bone in his left ankle along with the previously-announced high ankle sprain according to Gerry Dulac and Ed Bouchette. Pouncey has not been ruled out yet, but remains highly doubtful.
Antonio Brown, Emmanuel Sanders and Rashard Mendenhall all got camera time during the Thursday locker room sessions.

Steelers 93.7 The Fan beat reporter Jon Burton caught up with Steelers guard Trai Essex after practice on Wednesday. Essex is the line's current Mr. Versatile.
Bill Cowher was on ESPN Radio with Mike and Mike Thursday morning and it made for a good interview.
Rumors are swirling that the Steelers could be heading to Ireland to play a regular-season game in 2011 if the CBA is worked out and a logical foe might very well be the Arizona Cardinals. Do not book those flights just yet though.
