The Steeler management knew about the weekness in their defensive backfield that they had in 09/10. So what do they do. They signed a marginal DB in McFadden. They knew that Gay was not a number 2. To me he is weak in cover skills. That is like having a QB who can’t throw. They resign Clark who also is marginal in cover skills and ball skills. Troy can’t be everywhere. Ike did a good job as the only legit DB with cover skills although his does have hands of stone. The Steelers needs to address this issue through the draft and or free agency. Why do you think they continue to ignore this issue.
