James Harrison Has Second Back Surgery To Do More Clean Up

It appears as if Steelers right outside linebacker James Harrison is undergoing another back surgery today to clean up something else they found after is first surgery that took place less than two weeks ago. In his initial surgery, doctors removed a piece of herniated disc off a nerve in his back. Harrison announced the surgery news via his Facebook page. Harrison said that he had to stay seated for nine straight days after the first surgery and that this next procedure will mean 6 weeks of down time instead of 5 like he first hoped. He is however glad they caught it now and not later and it is also good that he is getting it done prior to the potential lockout, when he will not be covered under insurance. We wish James a speedy recovery and hope he is back to 100% very soon. Can you imagine Deebo staying seated for nine straight days? I surely can\’t.
