Steelers Six From Around The Web – Wednesday March 23rd – Tomlin Speaks & You Listen Edition

While down at the NFL owners meetings, Mike Tomlin commented on several subjects during the hour that he was made available to the media. You can read the Q & A that features new defensive backs coach Carnell Lake, running back Rashard Mendenhall and the 2011 NFL draft. Ed Bouchette also has Tomlin\’s thoughts on how the lockout could aid the Steelers.

The ESPN.com NFL writers have been ranking the top 10 by position this offseason and the latest top 10 list features the pass-rushers. Both Steelers outside linebackers James Harrison and LaMarr Woodley cracked the top 10, but two writers each did not have them in their own top 10. Not sure how.

In case you missed it yesterday, episode 43 of The Terrible Podcast is up for your listening pleasure. It includes an interview I did on Friday with new Steelers DB Donovan Warren on Friday.

Maurkice Pouncey and twin brother Mike Pouncey showed up at Lakeland Highlands Middle School, in Florida, to offer up a lesson to the students of childhood friend Meredith McCall who teaches there. I can never read too much of this type of stuff.

Steelers safety Ryan Clark joined 93.7 The Fan for his weekly radio spot to discuss a range of topics and to pop off a few more shots at the NFL. Clark called the current offer from the owners the “worst plan in sports history.”

Bouchette is down in New Orleans covering the owners meeting, but made time for his always entertaining Steelers chat session on the PPG Plus blog.

I am, I'm me. 40 something, retired and a life long Steelers fan.
