Steelers Six From Around The Web – Tuesday April 12th – Could Dixon Be A San Francisco Treat Edition

49ers beat writer Kevin Lynch recently listed back-up quarterback Dennis Dixon as a potential free agent target of the 49ers this offseason when and if free agency ever takes place. Dixon was tendered as a restricted free agent and it would cost the 49ers a fifth round pick if they signed him away. Sounds like mostly speculation to me and I just do not see this happening.

Hines Ward had another great showing on Dancing with the Stars Monday night with James Harrison, James Farrior and Max Starks in attendance to cheer him on.

Mike Tomlin will host his football camp on June 16th and 17th while Ben Roethlisberger will host his camp June 20th through the 21st. Both camps will take place at Mars Area High School.

This time it is the Steelers first Super Bowl win in Super Bowl IX against the Vikings. The quarterback in that game was of course Terry Bradshaw who revealed on Monday that he is feeling the mental effects of numerous concussions he suffered during his NFL career.
