Steelers Six From Around The Web – Monday May 16th – Ochocinco Full Of Bull Edition


Ed Bouchette had a great read on Sunday that looked back over the career of the recently retired Alan Faneca and Ron Cook wrote that the next stop should be the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

John Clayton of ESPN.com explains how the proliferation of 3-4 defenses has led to changes in philosophy at the running back position by coaches. They need bigger backs suggest Clayton when running against the Steelers. I suggest just not running at all.

Peter King does his brilliant deductive reasoning to figure out the Steelers were indeed ready to move up in a trade with the Redskins to draft Mike Pouncey should he have made it past the Dolphins. Daniel Snyder reportedly said this past week that the two sides indeed had a deal in place.

NFL Network ran down numbers 71-80 in their top 100 players list last night and I still can\’t believe Tony Romo made the list as one of 6 Cowboys in the top 100.

The Steelers and USA Football have teamed up to host a coaching school for youth football coaches in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area on Saturday, May 21 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Interested coaches can register for the clinic through USA Football.

Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco accepted a challenge on Twitter to ride a bull at a PBR event and lasted just 1.5 seconds. You can watch the video here and laugh as he just basically falls off the bull when the gate opens. I challenge Chad to keep a low profile until the season starts.
