Steelers Six From Around The Web – Thursday May 5th – Hines Ward Hancuffed At Gunpoint Edition

Steelers receiver Hines Ward was not arrested after he was removed from a suspected stolen vehicle at gunpoint by LAPD officers and placed in handcuffs this morning in L.A. Eventually both Hines and female the driver were let free without further incident.

Steelers safety Ryan Clark joined Jason Horowitz and Steve Phillips on Mad Dog Radio Wednesday to discuss the Rashard Mendenhall controversy and Clark gave his thoughts that social media is ruining the world.

    Is nobody concerned about cops pulling their weapons and pointing them at people
    for no reason? Did Hines act in a threatening manner? Did he issue a verbal threat?

    I believe the cops are becoming the enemy in this country!
    This is not an isolated incident. I’ve seen this happen myself on three different occasions.

    Those cops need to be fired.
