Episode #62 of The Terrible Podcast is up and we are joined by Ed Bouchette, long-time Steelers beat writer for the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, as he was kind enough to spend some time with us on during his vacation to discuss a wide range of football and media topics in the second part of the show. Thanks for the time Ed and we look forward to reading your work and talking to you again when the NFL gets back to action–or you get back from vacation. Make sure you are following Ed on Twitter @EdBouchette and read his work daily online at the PPG..
In Part 1 of Episode 62, David Todd and I briefly discuss a possible end to the lockout, review the injury situation of defensive end Aaron Smith and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and discuss some trade speculation around the league that could play a role in Ike Taylor signing with the Cardinals and not back with the Steelers. We discuss how likely it is that the Steelers could lose both Willie Colon and Taylor and what are the long-term ramifications if that does happen? Also the NFL Network is down to its top 10 players. Where will Troy Polamalu be ranked and where should he be? Tune in and find out and watch for Episode 63 later in the week when I talk with former Steelers running back Verron Haynes about him trying to return to the NFL in 2011 and his thoughts on the return of both Tiki Barber and Plaxico Burress as well.
