Steelers Six From Around The Web – Monday June 27th – Latrobe Waits On Steelers Edition

As the lockout continues on, the small town of Latrobe waits to hear if the Steelers will once again be holding their training camp at Saint Vincent College this year.

Observer Reporter beat writer Dale Lolley went off on a small rant on Saturday as he is pretty fed up with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and wishes he would give the injury stuff a rest.

Former Bengals defensive back Artrell Hawkins will serve as a coaching intern with the Steelers in training camp whenever the lockout is over.

Steelers wide receiver Antwaan Randle El held his sixth annual Youth Football Academy on Saturday at Thornton High School in Indianna and Josh Weinfuss caught up with him.

Former Steelers Merril Hoge and Bubby Brister will be teaming up on the football field again to coach the 2011 U.S. Under-15 National Team. Hoge was previously named the head coach and added Brister to his staff as the quarterbacks coach.

Former Steelers running back Rocky Bleier will be making a guest appearance at the Roar on the Shore bike rally July 16 in Erie.

I am, I'm me. 40 something, retired and a life long Steelers fan.
