Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin sat down for an exclusive interview with Bob Pompeani to talk about Rashard Mendenhall and his controversial tweet, Hines Ward on Dancing with the Stars and the potential conspiracy theory that the NFL is targeting the Steelers with the recent rule changes.
Steelers free safety Ryan Clark had his weekly Tuesday radio interview with 93.7 The Fan yesterday and talked about his return to Twitter, the release of Plaxico Burress from prison and his current intentions to workout with the LSU players as Clark is back in Louisiana currently.
Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor is forgoing his senior year at Ohio State and I predict the Steelers will have no interest in drafting him via a supplemental draft, if there is one. Ed Bouchette wrote about the same thing this morning and agrees with me.
The NFL and players resumed very serious talks on Tuesday, according to sources, in an attempt to continue to build off of last week's secret talks in Chicago, and inch closer to a resolution to end the three-month-old lockout.
Heinz Field finished 2nd to Lambeau Field in the latest ESPN.com power rankings of the toughest venue to play at in the NFL. The power rankings were voted on by the eight ESPN bloggers and writers.
The 4th annual James Farrior Foundation celebrity fundraising event is scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday and takes place in Richmond, Virginia. The weekend event, hosted by Steelers linebacker James Farrior and his brother, features bowling, softball and a golf outing and several other Steelers players have been invited.
