Steelers safety Ryan Clark joined Dana Jacobson on the show ESPN First Take this morning to discuss his recent trip to American Samoa with fellow Steelers safety Troy Polamalu to help out with the football camp that Polamalu put on. Clark compared the arrival of Troy and the other players that joined them on the trip to the Beatles or the Jacksons arriving, as the airport was packed when they arrived on the island.
As far as the current state of the labor negotiations, Clark told Jacobson he is the most optimistic he has ever been right now about the two sides coming to an agreement soon without losing any of the upcoming season. Clark said the totality of the new deal needs to be good for rookies and for former and current players and the league now seems to understand that. You can watch the full video interview below.
