Steelers Officially Sign WR Jerricho Cotchery & Waive Injured DE Sunny Harris
The Steelers have officially signed free agent wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery today after he agreed to terms late last week. To make room on the 90 man roster the Steelers waived defensive end Sunny Harris as injured. Harris injured his left foot late Friday night against the Redskins. Cotchery will wear jersey No. 82, at least for the rest of the preseason.
Steelers Digest is also reporting via Twitter that left guard Chris Kemoeatu was activated off of the active PUP list today and will practice. Kemoeatu arrived at training camp with knee swelling and had to slowly work with the training team to get back healthy.
