Steelers Colts Week 3 Practice Injury Report – Wednesday

steelers injury reportThe Steelers started their on the field practice preparations Wednesday for the upcoming Sunday night game against the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Wednesday injury and participation reports shows the right defensive end Brett Keisel (knee) did not work today. Keisel was termed questionable at best by Mike Tomlin on Tuesday. It is highly unlikely he will be ready by Sunday night and Ziggy Hood will likely start in his place. Running back Jonathan Dwyer (shoulder) and center Maurkice Pouncey (hamstring) were both limited today while wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring), cornerback Bryant McFadden (hamstring) and left guard Chris Kemoeatu (knee) all worked today. Kemoeatu told reporters that he is planning to play Sunday night. Linebacker James Farrior (not injury related), wide receiver Hines Ward (not injury related) and defensive end Aaron Smith (not injury related) all had veteran days off today.

For the Colts on Wednesday, quarterback Peyton Manning (neck) has already been ruled out as has linebacker Ernie Sims (knee). Defensive tackle Eric Foster (knee), linebacker Gary Brackett (shoulder), safety Marvin Bullit (shoulder), tight end Dallas Clark (foot), guard Ryan Diem (ankle), defensive end Dwight Freeney (abdomen), defensive tackle Fili Moala (ankle), tight end Jacob Tamme (concussion) and defensive end Robert Mathis (chest) all missed Wednesday. Quarterback Kerry Collins (shoulder) was limited while tight end Brody Elderidge (knee) and wide receiver Blair White (back) practiced fully.
